This cable is designed to power 4G, LTE, and Wi-Fi routers, as well as other network devices with a nominal 12 V power input (ONU/GPON terminals, network gateways), from a standard 5 V USB power source — a power bank or a 220 V USB wall adapter with a USB-A output.
The cable features a built-in DC-DC step-up converter that stably boosts the input voltage from 5 V to 12 V. This allows standard USB power sources to be used as a primary or backup power supply for network equipment without the need for a conventional 220 V power adapter.
For stable and reliable operation, the USB power source must be capable of delivering at least 18 W of output power (for example, 5 V ⎓ 3 A or equivalent). Insufficient power may result in voltage drop, unstable operation, or router reboots, especially under continuous load.
Connection requires no configuration:
— the USB-A plug connects to a power bank or USB wall adapter
— the DC 2.1×5.5 mm plug connects to the router or other device
The standard DC 2.1×5.5 mm connector ensures compatibility with most routers and network devices that require 12 V power. The 1-meter cable length is suitable for desk, shelf, or wall-mounted installations.
This cable is suitable as a backup or alternative power solution during power outages, in vehicles, in field conditions, or when standard 220 V power is temporarily unavailable.
