Ready kit for car, city and apartment
Internet in the car and city without dropouts
5G/4G Wi-Fi Internet Kit ZTE U50 with Mobile Guard antennas is a ready-made solution for stable mobile internet in a car, on the road, in the city and in an apartment. Two external Mobile Guard magnetic antennas operate in MIMO 2×2 mode, improve signal reception and help the router maintain a stable connection where a smartphone or regular router works unstably.
🚗
For car and movement
The antennas are installed on the metal roof of the car, the cable is routed through the rubber door seal, and the router works inside the cabin.

MIMO 2×2
Two antennas are not just “two pieces”, but full operation with the two TS9 ports of the router for better stability and speed.

Plug in — it works
The kit already includes the router, two antennas and two adapters. Only an operator SIM card is additionally required.
What this kit is for
This kit is designed for situations where stable internet is needed not “somewhere in theory”, but directly in a car, while moving, in the city or in an apartment. It is suitable for trips, work in a car, taxis, service vehicles, mobile workplaces, video calls, navigation, laptops, cameras, messengers and everyday use.
The main message is simple: stable internet in the car and city without dropouts.
Why this is better than just a phone
A smartphone receives signal with internal antennas and often loses stability inside a car, between buildings or near a window in an apartment. In this kit, the signal is received by two external Mobile Guard antennas installed outside: on the metal roof of a car or on a metal windowsill outside the window. This placement helps achieve more stable reception and fewer dropouts while moving or in urban conditions.
Internet in the car works more stably than from a smartphone.
Fewer dropouts and signal drops in the city.
Two antennas provide MIMO 2×2 mode.
The router distributes Wi-Fi to several devices at once.
What you get after purchase
Stable internet in the car while moving.
Normal speed for a laptop, smartphone, tablet, cameras or work services.
Wi-Fi in the car cabin or apartment without complicated installation.
A ready-made kit in which all required components have already been selected.
Main use cases
🚗 Car — the main use case
Two Mobile Guard antennas are installed on the metal roof of the car. The cables are routed into the cabin through the rubber door seal without damage. The ZTE U50 router is placed inside the car and distributes Wi-Fi for passengers, a laptop, tablet, video calls, navigation or work.
The antennas withstand speed load up to 186 km/h.
🏙 Apartment / city
The antennas can be placed outside the window on a metal windowsill or another external metal surface. The router remains inside the apartment and distributes Wi-Fi. This is a practical solution for the city, an apartment, rental housing, temporary internet or backup communication during blackouts.
The best result is when the antennas are installed outside.
Speed and stability
ZTE U50 supports 4G/5G, Wi-Fi 6 and CA carrier aggregation, so in the city it can use the maximum capabilities of the operator’s network. Mobile Guard antennas improve signal reception and stability, while the effect depends on coverage, frequencies and network load in a specific location.
4G / 4G+stable internet in the city, car and apartment
up to 2.63 Gbpsin the area of available 5G operator coverage
MIMO 2×2two antennas for better speed and stability
5G is available depending on operator coverage. Antennas improve reception and stability, but actual speed always depends on the network, frequencies, base station load and usage conditions.
Ready-made kit without selecting parts
You do not need to separately search for antennas, adapters or check connector compatibility. The kit already includes everything needed to connect to the ZTE U50. Only the SIM card of the operator you will use is additionally required.
| Router |

| Antenna cables |
Each antenna has a built-in 50 Ohm Mobile Guard coaxial cable, 2 m long, with an F-male connector. |
| Adapters |
2× F-female → TS9 antenna adapters for connecting the antennas to the two TS9 ports of the ZTE U50. |
| Installation |
Magnetic rubberized base with six neodymium magnets for installation on the metal roof of a car or an external metal windowsill. |
| Protection |
The antennas have IP67 dust and water protection and are designed for outdoor use. |
How the kit connects
Connection is as simple as possible and does not require special tools. Each antenna already has a built-in 2-meter cable with an F-male connector. The F-female → TS9 adapter is screwed onto this connector, after which TS9 is inserted into the corresponding port of the ZTE U50 router. Both antennas are connected this way — for full MIMO 2×2 operation.
Install the antennas
On the car roof or external metal windowsill.
Connect the adapters
Antenna F-male → adapter F-female → TS9.
Insert TS9 into the router
The two TS9 ports of the ZTE U50 operate in MIMO 2×2 mode.
Insert the SIM card
Turn on the router — and use Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi in the car, apartment or for PC
ZTE U50 is not a USB modem, but a full Wi-Fi router. It receives internet through the operator’s mobile network and distributes it via Wi-Fi to smartphones, laptops, tablets and other devices. The router can also be connected to a PC via USB Type-C: it will charge and simultaneously transmit internet to the computer through this cable.
Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz.
You can create one shared network or separate 2.4 / 5 GHz networks.
Covers the car cabin or an apartment up to 3 rooms.
Connection for up to 32 devices.
Power supply and autonomy
The router has a 4500 mAh battery and can work up to 24 hours under low but constant load. In a car, standard USB-A 5V/2A is enough: the router can operate while charging without drops. This is convenient for trips, work on the road, mobile tasks and backup internet.
Moderate heating of the router under load is normal. The device is designed for long-term operation, including while the car is moving.
Why exactly two Mobile Guard antennas
One antenna can work, but speed and stability will be lower. Two antennas are needed for full MIMO 2×2 operation — this is how the router uses the operator’s signal better, holds the connection more stably and can show higher speed in the city and while moving.
10 dBi gain of each antenna.
Operating range 900–2600 MHz.
Support for Ukrainian 4G frequencies Band 3 / Band 7 / Band 8.
IP67 protection and resistance to speed up to 186 km/h.
Frequently asked questions
Is this kit specifically for a car?
Yes. The main use case is internet in a car. The antennas are installed on the metal roof, the cables are routed through the rubber door seal, and the router works in the cabin and distributes Wi-Fi.
Can the kit be used in an apartment?
Yes. In an apartment, the antennas should preferably be installed outside — outside the window on a metal windowsill or another metal surface. This way the signal will be more stable than if the router is kept deep inside the room.
Which operators does the kit work with?
The kit works with SIM cards of Ukrainian operators Kyivstar, Vodafone and lifecell. Whichever SIM card you insert — the router will work in that operator’s network.
Do I need to buy anything else?
For the kit to work, only an operator SIM card is additionally required. The antennas, adapters and router have already been selected for compatibility with each other.
Can it be used without antennas?
Yes, ZTE U50 can work without external antennas, especially with good coverage. But with two Mobile Guard antennas, stability and speed are usually better, especially in a car, in the city and near a window.
Are 5G networks supported?
Yes, ZTE U50 supports 5G. Maximum speed up to 2.63 Gbps is possible in the area of available 5G operator coverage. Antennas improve reception and stability, while the actual result depends on coverage, frequencies and network load.
Is 2 m of cable enough in a car?
Yes, 2 m of cable is enough for a car. The cable is routed through the rubber door seal without damaging the doors or the cable.
Is USB power in a car enough?
Yes, standard USB-A 5V/2A is enough. The router can work and charge at the same time.
Can the router be connected to a computer by cable?
Yes. Via USB Type-C, the router can charge and simultaneously transmit internet to a PC.
