Internet in Your Apartment During a Blackout
ERGO R291b creates a single home network that can combine wired Internet, mobile 4G, and backup battery power.
In normal operation, the router can receive Internet from the provider through WAN/LAN. If the wired connection becomes unavailable, ERGO R291b automatically switches to 4G through the installed SIM card.
When the power goes out, the router continues operating from the built-in 4000 mAh battery — up to 10 hours based on our test results.

Two Mobile Guard Mini Antennas — Move Mobile Signal Reception Outside the Window
In an apartment, the external antennas can be placed outside the window on an external metal windowsill. The magnetic base of the Mobile Guard Mini allows the antennas to be installed vertically on a suitable metal surface without drilling.
Each Mobile Guard Mini has a 2-meter RG58 cable, so the antennas can be positioned outside while the ERGO R291b itself remains inside the apartment.

ERGO R291b supports 4G LTE-FDD on 900, 1800, and 2600 MHz and 3G UMTS on 2100 MHz. Mobile Guard Mini operates in the 650–2800 MHz range.

Two Antennas — Two Ready SMA Connections
ERGO R291b has two external SMA ports. The kit includes 2 F-female → SMA adapters, so both Mobile Guard Mini antennas can be connected without separately selecting adapters.
