1. Preparation for installation
Before starting the installation, make sure that you have all the necessary components:
Mobile Guard MIMO bracket
Two directional Mobile Guard antennas (yagi)
Fasteners (included in the kit)
A vertical mast or pipe for installation
Tool: 10 mm spanner
2. Installation of the bracket on the mast
Choose the optimal place to install the antenna. It is recommended to choose the highest possible location with open space to ensure the best signal.
Using the included clamp, secure the Mobile Guard bracket to a vertical mast or pipe. Use a 10mm wrench to tighten the clamp. Make sure the bracket is securely fastened and will not move due to wind or other factors.
3. Installation of antennas on the bracket
Install the two Mobile Guard antennas on the bracket using the two M6 bolts for each antenna provided. Use a 10mm wrench to securely tighten the bolts.
Thanks to the plastic fasteners on the bracket, the antennas are automatically installed with the required polarization shift: 45° to the vertical and 90° to each other. This provides optimal conditions for the operation of both channels.
4. Connecting the antennas to the equipment
After installing the antennas, connect them to the 4G modem or router using the appropriate cables and adapters.
Make sure all connections are secure and undamaged.
5. Setup and testing
After completing the installation and connecting the antennas, rotate the entire bracket with the antennas, observing the signal level. This will allow you to find the optimal direction to receive the best signal.
After reaching the maximum signal quality, lock the bracket in the selected position.
6. Completion of works
After successful setup, secure all elements to ensure their stability in weather conditions.
Periodically check the condition of the bracket and antennas for timely detection of possible malfunctions.
By following these instructions, you will be able to securely install 3G/4G MIMO antennas on the mast using the Mobile Guard bracket and ensure a stable Internet connection.
